READY TO POUR
01 One single crew No coordinating between three subcontractors: the excavation and the slab are both ours.
02 Level, for real A crooked slab shows in the whole structure. The grading is checked before the pour.
03 Designed for frost The granular base and the drainage keep the slab from shifting the first winter.

The steps of a slab

Step 01 Site visit and layout

We come out to your property to confirm the access, the levels and the exact location of the slab. That's when we see what's doable — before you commit to anything.

Dimensions, thickness, rebar, ground preparation: it's all in writing. You know what's included and what isn't.

Excavation
Step 03 Excavation

We strip the topsoil and dig down to bearing soil, below the frost line. Our own machinery, our own crew.

Granular base
Step 04 Granular base

Crushed stone spread and compacted in layers. It's that base, not the concrete, that keeps the slab from shifting the first winter.

Forms and rebar
Step 05 Forms and rebar

Forms set plumb and square, steel mesh tied and raised on chairs. The levels are rechecked before the pour.

Pour and finish
Step 06 Pour and finish

Concrete poured, screeded, floated, then trowel-finished. We come back for the form stripping and the backfill around the perimeter.
